SELphOBiA as part of exhibition 'Traces' on 22nd June.
Our lives are the sum of millions of moments colliding to make up the past, present and the future. But what traces do these moments leave behind and how do they impact the people we are?
In Traces 17 multidisciplinary artists using photography, film, printmaking and more explore who we have been, where we are now and who we would like to be. Each artist has attended the artist peer group Fragmentary at the Free Space Project, a monthly event for artists that are exploring health and wellbeing in their practice, often covering complex and emotional experiences. Full Press Release.
I will be showing a new body of work; Who I was, Who I am, Who I will be depicts three letters written to myself about the past, present and future.
Free Space Project is directed by photographer Daniel Regan who organizes various events to encourage the much needed debate on the benefits of arts for those with experience of mental difficulties.
