Paola is the founder of Movivendi and Tamasa Rei, aka moVITam.

 

Paola is a movement practitioner, Laban/Bartenieff facilitator and remedial soft tissue massage therapist.

 

After obtaining her BA Degree in Translation and Interpreting from SSIT in Rome in 2004, she has intertwined her dance performing career with translation work. As a contemporary dance performer and workshop facilitator she has worked internationally for well-known choreographers such as Mimmo Miccolis and Simone Forti and performed at major As.Li.Co. Opera houses, museums such as MAGA, British museum, Natural History Museum, Basel Art Fair.

In 2018 she graduated from her somatic movement training at the LIMS® of New York as Certified Movement Analyst. Later, she became a fully qualified Level 3 Holistic Massage Therapist and Level 5 Sports Massage and Remedial Soft Tissue Massage in 2020, furthering her interest in physiology and movement dynamics.

 

She operates in educational, community and rehabilitation settings, where she brings her multidisciplinary approach as methodology to facilitate somatic movement classes, as well as to guide people through pre- and post- rehab exercises. Her background and experience have offered her solid grounds to develop tailor-made movement programmes, which she delivers in-person and online on Movivendi and Tamasa Rei platforms.

She works as a corporate movement coach and a massage therapist in different clinics in London and she is a current student of the MAPP SS programme (Professional Practice, Somatic Studies MA) at the Middlesex University.
